Quite intense, somewhat warm aroma of dried plums and currants with chocolate and caramel tones, dark honey, iodine, some tobacco, leather and tar. Ripe, preserved and dried looking, sweet fruit, nutty and chocolaty flavours, dark caramel, some acid bite and friable tannin, powerful and quite persistent on the palate, some gingerbread spice, some warmth, not eternally deep, good to very good, sweet, spicy finish
