2004 VR Alentejano Syrah-Cabernet Sauvignon, Alentejo, Portugal

Black berries and cherries on the nose, still slightly lactic, notes of raw meat and light vegetal notes. Lively, sweetish fruit with fine tannins and a touch of carbon dioxide, delicate chocolate notes in the background, very creamy, full-bodied, light vegetal notes in the background, attractive finish. Future development still a little uncertain.
