2003 Langhe DOC Sancarlo, Piedmont, Italy

Mature nose, delicate preserved berries, light spicy and delicate fleshy notes. More prominent spicy notes on the palate, cloves, mace and tamarind, moderate fruit, fairly light-bodied and cool, slightly prominent sandy tannins, very dry style, attractive finish.
