2004 Montefalco Sagrantino DOCG Le Mura Saracene, Umbria, Italy

Translate to English Eher herber Duft nach teils angetrockneten, überwiegend schwarzen Beeren mit tabakigen und leicht röstigen Noten, einem Hauch Suppenkräuter und angedeutet gerösteten Nüssen. Fest gewirkte, herbe dunkle Frucht, nussige und leicht röstige Aromen, straffes, feinsandiges, sehr präsentes Tannin, nachhaltig, viel Griff, tabakige Anklänge, etwas Säurebiss, erstaunlich kühl für den Alkohol, ein wenig Bitterschokolade, erdige Anklänge, sehr guter, herb-saftiger Abgang, wieder mit reichlich Tanningriff. Wirkt noch immer verhältniismäßig jung.
