2009 Spätburgunder trocken, Ahr, Germany

Floral and tobacco scent of mixed berries, especially cassis, with rosewood tones. A little bit polished fruit in the mouth, dried citrus, cranberries and blackcurrants, earthy-mineral and dried floral notes, has certain persistence and substance, noticeably woody notes, not too deep, quite good, somewhat bitter chocolate finish.
