2005 Sicilia IGT Grillo-Chardonnay Ninfea, Sicily, Italy

Candied citrus fruit and some pomaceous fruit on the nose, spicy oak and some herbaceous notes. Prominent oak on the palate, delicately juicy fruit, some more herbaceous notes, very elegant acidity, creamy on the palate, light smoky notes, burnt nuts, not particularly deep, noticeable alcohol, nevertheless quite well balanced, attractive to good finish.
