2008 Barbera d'Alba DOC, Piedmont, Italy

Youthful nose, preserved red berries, touch of mandarin zest, light vegetal and herbaceous notes. Medium body, preserved, jammy red berries, hint of plums and cherries, delicate herbaceous notes, more traces of mandarin oranges, integrated, fine-grained tannins, very polished, modern and clean, attractive to good finish.
