2008 Verduno Pelaverga (Verduno) DOC, Piedmont, Italy

Editor note: Light red berries on the nose, delicate hint of spice and meat, herbaceous traces and mineral traces. Clear, light fruit on the palate, prominent spicy vegetal notes, some earthy and mineral notes, fine dusty tannins, elegant tart spice, persistent and quite lively, elegant acid bite, strongly reminiscent of rye flour in the background, good finish.
