2006 Badacsony Merlot, Balaton, Hungary

Preserved mulberries and some cherries on the nose, delicate peppery and smoky notes, spicy oak. Fairly soft fruit on the palate, slightly upfront, sweetish spice and oak, medium-fine tannins, slightly creamy, not a lot of depth, noticeable alcohol, slightly oaky on an attractive finish.
