2005 Topikos Oinos Florinas/Τοπικός Οίνος Φλώρινας Omega by ALPHA ESTATE late harvest, Macedonia / Μακεδονία, Greece

Candied citrus fruit on the nose, some stone and pomaceous fruit, hint of honey and caramel, roasted spicy notes. Full-bodied and sweet on the palate, prominent roasted and spicy oak, fairly prominent acidity, sugar candy, caramel and some honey, oxidative notes, not particularly deep, light bitter notes typical of Traminer, sweet on an oaky and slightly alcoholic finish.
