Translate to English Herber, leicht animalischer Duft nach schwarzen Beeren und etwas Kirschen mit etwas holziger Würze, erdigen Noten, ein wenig Trockenkräutern und Tabak. Fest gewirkt und saftig im Mund, klare, geschliffene dunkle Frucht, sehr feines Tannin, nachhaltig am Gaumen, noch immer relativ jugendlich, moderates Holz, feine Würze, gezügelte Kraft, tabakige Nuancen und eine Spur Lakritz am Gaumen, sehr guter, saftiger udn herb-würziger Abgang. Hat sich ganz hervorragend entwickelt und kann weiter reifen.

Editor note: Jammy nose, black berries and cherries, spicy oak and prominent alcohol. Quite polished on the palate, almost too smooth, slightly tart dark fruit, quite fine but slightly astringent tannins, oak rather evident, and has not merged with the wine, sooty notes, slightly persistent, not particularly deep, more tart fruit and unintegrated oak on the finish.
