2008 P.D.O. Amynteo (O.P.A.P.) / Αμύνταιο Xinomavro Hedgehog Vineyard, Macedonia / Μακεδονία, Greece

Editor note: Red berries on the nose, medicinal herbs, metallic, mineral and earthy notes, vegetal notes. Juicy, elefantm tart, preserved red currant fruit on the palate, cranberries and a hint of citrus, fairly crisp, as is typical of the variety, medicinal herbs and undergrowth, light mineral notes, integrated tannins, has some substance and shows its origins, good finish.
