2017 P.D.O. Amynteo (O.P.A.P.) / Αμύνταιο Xinomavro trocken "Single Vineyard Hedgehog", Red, Macedonia / Μακεδονία, Greece

Somewhat metallic aroma, reminiscent of dried tomatoes and blood, of black and red berries with notes of bacon and oregano. Tart, clear fruit, slightly bacony and nutty, earthy and dried-vegetable tones, again a little reminiscent of oregano, good persistence, fine sandy tannin, some salt, certain power, good to very good, first a little drying, then juicier with air.
