2014 Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, Tuscany, Italy

Slightly tobacco-like and moderately woody-spicy, also slightly iodine scent of black and iodine notes with iron tones and oregano. Ripe, tart fruit with dried herbal tones, walnut, some black olives and woody notes, earthy in the background, quite present, still slightly drying tannin, which integrates well with air but also gains noticeably in juice and freshness, good depth, has power, but also bite and certain elegance, quite complex, very good finish with notes of cocoa and coffee.
