, The total property of the Alvear family covers 4,000 hectares, in the middle of this area is the "Palacio Quemado" (burnt palace). In addition to viticulture also cereals and olives are grown, and ran livestock. The vineyards cover 100 hectares of vineyards at an average of 520 meters above sea level. It cultivates the red varieties Tempranillo, Garnacha Tinta, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot, as well as the white wine variety Pardina (Pardillo). After the temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks and the malolactic fermentation, the wines mature for different lengths of time in French or American oak, depending on the type. They are produced under the names Palacio Quemado, Señorío de Alange and PQ.
