, The Alvear family owns 4,000 hectares, in the middle of which is the "Palacio Quemado" (burned palace). In addition to viticulture, cereals and olives are also cultivated and livestock farming is carried out. The vineyards cover 100 hectares of vineyards at an average of 520 meters above sea level. The red varieties Tempranillo, Garnacha Tinta, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot, as well as the white wine Pardina (Pardillo) are cultivated. After the temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks and the biological acid degradation, the wines mature in French or American oak for different lengths depending on the type. They are produced under the names Palacio Quemado, Señorío de Alange and PQ.
