2013 Barolo DOCG, Piedmont, Italy

Earthy, dried vegetal and slightly tobacco-like fragrance with meaty notes, soup stock and subdued berry tones. Ripe, quite juicy fruit with delicate acid bite and youthful, but relatively fine tannins, persistent on the palate, cool at all strength, herbaceous nuances in the background, some salt, dried mushrooms and forest soil, very delicate roasted, has some freshness, still young, not too deep, very good finish.
