2008 Blaufränkisch trocken Kalk & Schiefer, Burgenland, Austria

Light vegetal notes on the nose, preserved berries and sour cherries, earthy and mineral notes. Firm, polished, persistent sour cherry fruit on the palate, preserved red currants and plums, prominent acid bite, has backbone and some substance, more mineral notes, firm, integrated tannins, refreshing style, delicately bitter on a good finish.
