2014 Leithaberg DAC Blaufränkisch trocken, Burgenland, Austria

Firm, polished, cool nose, black berries and cherries, dried herbs and some tobacco, peppery traces. Very polished, cool, elegant, juicy fruit on the palate, light nutty notes, hint of tobacco, very fine, almost silky youthful tannins, persistent, some depth, earthy and mineral notes in the background, peppery traces again, still very young, elegant style, but also firm and concentrated, very good cool, elegant, juicy, polished finish. A pleasure to drink.
