2015 Leithaberg DAC Ried Freudshofer trocken, Burgenland, Austria

Delicate hint of smoked bacon on the nose, prominent vegetal and herbaceous notes, cool, restrained yellow fruit, earthy and mineral notes in the background. Ripe, elegant, juicy, very polished fruit on the palate, some melon and cucumber, very elegant, lively acidity, touch of olive oil in the background, full-bodied and creamy, but remains cool, light nutty notes in the background, salty mineral notes, touch of chanterelles and elderberry, very good, juicy, polished finish.
