2015 Blaufränkisch trocken Kalk und Schiefer, Burgenland, Austria

Tart nose, light earthy notes, undergrowth and light animal notes, black berries, dried vegetal notes and some tobacco, light mineral notes in the background. Tart, restrained fruit on the palate, nutty earthy and light dried vegetal notes, youthful, fine, sandy tannins, fairly persistent, chalky mineral notes in the background, hint of cocoa, becomes more juicy with aeration, very good finish.
