2017 Ventoux AOC Ocres du Ventoux, Rhône, France

Fairly firm, slightly vegetal and herbaceous notes of cherries and predominantly dark berries with a hint of juniper and pepper. Firm, juicy fruit with noticeable acid bite and fine, youthful tannins, quite powerful on the palate, high alcohol but well integrated, fairly persistent, floral and herbaceous notes, hint of pepper, meaty traces, has freshness, good to very good, quite firm , tart and juicy finish.
