2014 Veronese IGT Corvina Veronese, Veneto, Italy

Fairly muted, slightly animalistic nose, black berries, nutty notes, green pepper and earthy notes. Tart, slightly juicy dark fruit on the palate, more earthy notes, vegetal notes, hint of green pepper, fine sandy, slightly astringent tannins, fairly persistent, hint of licorice, slightly muted on a fairly good finish.
