2016 Langhe DOC Nebbiolo, Piedmont, Italy

Astringent, slightly fleshy and somewhat herbaceous-vegetal scent of red and black berries with violet and earthy notes and a hint of juniper. Clear, juicy fruit with a little cake spice, fine, youthful tannin and delicate acid bite, a little jammy on the palate, some persistence, a hint of liquorice, floral nuances, a hint of pepper, good to very good, fruity finish with a touch.
