2005 Chateauneuf-du-Pape AOC Seigneur de Lauris, Rhône, France

Sour cherries and partly preserved red berries on the nose, cool with delicate floral notes and some provencale herbs, light volatile notes. Fruity with tart spice on the palate, very light roasted notes, fairly prominent fine dusty tannins, light acid bite, some licorice, more herbaceous notes, slightly noticeable alcohol, becomes more astringent and increasingly bitter with aeration, attractive finish.
