Slightly sweetish nose, preserved sour cherries and plums, touch of berries and a hint of vanilla. Clear, juicy and quite firn on the palate, ripe fruit, but also has a light acid bite, fairly prominent and fairly fine tannins, good persistence, quite full-bodied, not particularly deep, but very well made, good finish.

Best to drink: Bis 2010. What our ratings mean

Editor note: Sour cherries and preserved ripe mixed berries on the nose, sweetish vanilla notes. Clear, ripe fruit, youthful, quite juicy, prominent oak and still quite dry tannins, sandy on the palate, not particularly deep, delicate tart notes, attractive finish.
