2006 Dolcetto d'Alba DOC S. Rocco, Piedmont, Italy

Elegant nose with black berries, some red berries and sour cherries, herbs and spices. Still largely undeveloped on the palate, firm, cool and juicy, fairly prominent tannins, still slightly sandy and astringent, elegant acid bite, slightly salty mineral notes, persistent and full-bodied, good depth, good long finish.
