2006 Langhe DOC Montalupa, Piedmont, Italy

Very typical of its origin on the nose, herbaceous, compact, cool berry notes, undergrowth, medicinal herbs, pepper and other spices as well as mineral notes. Very polished on the palate, persistent, cool forest berries and cherries, herbs, some undergrowth, white pepper and light vegetal notes, prominent mineral notes, integrated tannins, has substance, but not overpowering, still a little restrained, very slightly astringent on a very good finish.
