2007 Barbera d'Alba DOC Fontanelle, Piedmont, Italy

Very cool, fresh nose, cherries and red berries, some blueberries. Clear and cool again on the palate, elegant juicy fruit, light acid bite, very fine tannins, fairly creamy, polished style, noticeable alcohol, delicate spicy oak in the background, fairly persistent, not particularly deep, good finish.
