2007 Barolo DOCG Sorano Coste & Bricco, Piedmont, Italy

Firm, clear, deep, tart nose, partly dried and preserved red and some black berries, touch of tobacco and some chestnuts, elegant hint of cherries, floral traces, mineral notes. Clear, very firm but also juicy fruit on the palate, sugar candy, hint of dried citrus fruit, very full-bodied and creamy, but also polished, fairly prominent, very fine tannins, deep and persistent, herbaceous and floral traces, compact, still youthful, already very well balanced, very good long finish.
