2018 P.G.I. Makedonikos Limnio Dry, Macedonia / Μακεδονία, Greece

Somewhat earthy, dried-vegetal and foliage-like scent with red berry notes, hinted black berries, a little root vegetables and mushrooms. Slightly covered fruit, nutty, woody and spicy notes, slightly dried vegetal and earthy on the palate, mushroom notes, some bitter, relatively moderate and yet also astringent tannins, warming alcohol, not particularly deep, attractive, again slightly covered finish with a certain spice.
