2017 Saint Joseph AOC "La Sybarite", Rhône, France

Somewhat toasty, woody-spicy and smoky aroma of partially preserved, ripe black berries and a little cherry with delicately fleshy, herbal and peppery aromas. Clear, ripe, yet quite fresh, juicy fruit, some acid bite, fine, youthful tannin, nutty traces and some toasting on the palate, good substance and persistence, mineral notes, very good, firm, juicy and a touch of sweetish finish.
