1998 Vin Santo di Montepulciano DOC, Tuscany, Italy

Translate to English Tiefer, fester und sehr komplexer, oxidativer Duft nach Mandeln und Pekanuss, Tabak, Korinthen und getrockneten Datteln, Jod, ein wenig Curry und Sojasauce mit einer Spur Suppenfond und mineralischen Tönen. Dickflüssig im Mund, herb und sehr süß zugleich, extreme Konzentration, viel Tabak, auch getrocknete Suppenkräuter, etwas Asche und Teer, gebrannte Nüsse am Gaumen, wieder Korinthen und anderes Trockenobst, eher moderate Säure, sehr nachhaltig am Gaumen, tief und vielschichtig, sirupartige Konsistenz, Kaffeelikör, Trockenkräuter und orientalische Gewürze, auch Pfeffer im Hintergrund, etwas Milchkaramell und dunkler Honig, extrem langer, dicker, süßer und würziger, sehr komplexer Abgang. Wird selbst in der offenen Flasche ewig halten, was auch ziemlich sinnvoll ist, da einem von diesem Extremkonzentrat schon ein paar Tropfen am Tag völlig reichen. Eine geschlossene Flasche kann man getrost den Urenkeln für ihre Kinder mitgeben.
