2004 Veneto IGT Frater, Veneto, Italy

Sour cherries and blackcurrants on the nose, herbal notes. Juicy, firm and straightforward, red berry fruit with delicate tart herbal notes, harmonious, still slightly astringent tannins, very young, dark chocolate in the background, attractive to good finish. Give it time to mature.
