2013 Barolo DOCG del Comune di La Morra, Piedmont, Italy

Tart, somewhat underwoody and dried-vegetable aroma of red and also black berries with tobacco and earthy notes. Firmly woven, tart-juicy, slightly spicy fruit with nutty and undergrowth aromas, some tobacco and cedary nuances, peppery spice on the palate, powerful and persistent, still young, present, quite fine tannin, some acid bite, earthy and salty mineral tones in the background, lots of grip, very good, firm, juicy and spicy finish
