2014 Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, Tuscany, Italy

Firm, a hint of animalic scent of red and black berries with a little soup herbs, tar and earthy nuances in the background. Ripe, firm and tart, quite juicy fruit with chocolate-like spicy oak, some smoke and herbaceous traces, some acid bite, still slightly astringent tannins, well integrated with air, has some elegance, earthy to mineral notes, a hint of sage, very good , tart and juicy finish with bloody-metallic nuances and moderate wood.
