2008 Sicilia IGT Nero d'Avola Perciato, Sicily, Italy

Slightly sharp and delicately tart nose, red and some black berries, candied cherries and some blood orange. Firm and slightly juicy on the palate, quite clear fruit, slightly earthy spicy notes, elegant, fairly prominent acidity, youthful tannins evenly distributed, light acid bite, not a lot of substance, prominent blood orange on an attractive finish.
