2014 Montefalco Rosso DOC Convento SanFortunato, Umbria, Italy

Fairly earthy and tobacco-like nose, red and some black berries, hint of pomegranate and dried vegetal notes. Ripe, slightly sweetish red fruit on the palate, fine sandy tannins and earthy notes, light vegetal and floral notes, fairly persistent, creamy and has some warmth, again sweetish, slightly jammy on a good finish.
