1999 Barolo DOCG, Piedmont, Italy

Sweet rum punch on the nose, partly overripe red fruit preserves. Soft, fairly warm fruit with relatively moderate tannins, some oak, harmonious, although not particularly deep, appealing commercial style, attractive to good finish.
