Editor note: Fairly mature nose, slightly oxidative with some rubbery notes, roasted notes and some lovage, preserved berries. mineral notes, increasingly intense herbaceous notes. Initially appears mature on the palate, earthy notes with slightly overripe preserved berry fruit, with notes of bruised apples and dried herbs, light plummy notes in the background, dusty and sandy tannins, evenly distributed, full-bodied and full of character, individualistic, rustic in the best possible sense, complex with good depth, surprisingly appears increasingly fresh with aeration, very unusual and uncompromising, but quite impressive, slightly astringent on quite a long finish.
