2008 Nebbiolo d'Alba DOC, Piedmont, Italy

Partly preserved red berries and some black berries on the nose, partly dried herbs and a hint of undergrowth. Clear, elegant, juicy and fairly tart on the palate, ripe fruit, undergrowth and tree bark, elegant acid bite, harmonious, fairly present but also very fine tannins, slightly persistent, attractive finish.
