2001 Vino da Tavola Cortigiano, Veneto, Italy

Blackcurrants on the mature nose,light vegetal notes, smoky and roasted notes. More prominent roasted and msoky notes on the palate, spicy oak, some more dark berry fruit, slightly astringent tannins, good presence on the palate, very light oxidative notes, medium body, fairly juicy, quite a good long finish with fruity and smoky notes.
