2005 Gabiano DOC Riserva a Matilde Giustiniani, Piedmont, Italy

Cool, tart mixed berries on the nose, delicate leathery and herbaceous notes, some tobacco. Straightforward tart style, slightly juicy on the palate, vegetal notes and some oak, slightly astringent tannins, quite cool again on the palate, tart spicy notes and some tart fruit on a very slightly astringent finish.
