2008 Salento IGT Boemondo, Apulia, Italy

A little vegetal and smoky scent of mixed berries and figs with tobacco and earthy tones. In the mouth delicately acidic, slightly jammy cherry and berry fruit, aromas of dried herbs, tobacco and some tar, fine-grained, partly slightly drying tannin, spicy notes reminiscent of pepper and juniper, fine acid bite, rather cool style, not very deep or complex, but has certain polish, decent finish.
