2001 Barbera d'Alba DOC La Galúpa, Piedmont, Italy

Fairly simple nose, red berries, some paint and delicate oak. More berries on the palate, slightly sweetish fruit and oak notes, polished tannins, slightly astringent, fruity, attractive finish. Very modern style.
