2007 Diano d'Alba DOC Superiore Vigna Pietrin®, Piedmont, Italy

Compact nose, berries and cherries, earthy and mineral notes, old oak. Fairly mature on the palate, but still firm, preserved berry fruit, fairly persistent, some blueberry jam, delicate vegetal and mineral notes, integrated fine-grained tannins, medium body, has varietal character and shows its origin, good finish.
