2009 Dolcetto di Diano d'Alba DOC, Piedmont, Italy

Youthful nose, preserved light red berries, light herbaceous as well as light lactic notes. Fairly uncomplicated, straightforward style, slightly bitter preserved red berry fruit on the palate, some dried herbs, medium, integrated tannins, has some backbone, but not particularly deep, acceptable to attractive finish.
