2015 Alto Mincio IGT "Montevolpe Rosso", Lombardy, Italy

Slightly spicy nose, partly preserved cherries and black berries, peppery notes, licorice, some pomegranate and herbaceous notes. Ripe, sweetish, juicy, preserved fruit on the palate, roasted notes and nutty oak, spicy on the palate, warm and alcoholic, rustic style, not particularly deep, fairly good, warm, sweetish, but also bitter oaky finish.
