2012 Costa d'Amalfi DOC Salicerchi, Campania, Italy

Quite developed, pickled walnut, slightly rusty and delicately earthy scent of candied carrots, beetroot, crumbly pome fruit and slightly unripe plums. Rather juicy and rather crumbly fruit in the mouth, cool vegetable and earthy tones, a pinch of white pepper, relatively lively acidity, still appears surprisingly fresh, rusty notes, somewhat open style, very peculiar, root vegetables in the background, certain alcohol warmth, decent finish.
