2006 Langhe DOC Nebbiolo, Piedmont, Italy

Slightly spicy nose, ripe, partly preserved red berries, touch of light cherries and some plums, hint of tobacco. Red berry fruit and plums on the palate, wilted flowers and vegetal notes, slightly dusty tannins, prominent acid bite, slightly persistent, medium body, not particularly deep, attractive to good finish.
