2007 Dolcetto d'Alba DOC, Piedmont, Italy

Clear nose, sour cherries and preserved mixed berries, hint of licorice and some herbaceous traces. Youthful dark, slightly tart fruit on the palate, fairly prominent tannins, still slightly sandy, vegetal traces, fairly persistent, mineral trace, cool and still largely undeveloped, good to very good finish.
